Glass Tile Charm Tutorial
1. Choose an image from either scrapbook paper, or one of your personal photos that fits your glass tile.

2. Apply Diamond glaze over the textured side of the glass, place image on the textured side of the glass so you can see the image through the non textured side of glass. Work out air bubbles by applying pressure. Let Dry.
3. Trim any excess paper off with scissors.
4. If your paper is not 2 sided or if you do not like the image on the reverse, use any metallic looking paper stock for the backing of the pendant by applying a thin layer of Diamond Glaze or Mod Podge over the back of the paper or photo you used for the pendant. Apply the metallic paper to the back of your pendant. Let Dry.
5. Apply diamond glaze to the back of the glass pendant to protect it and give it a glossy look. You may also use any sealant that dries clear (it does not have to be diamond glaze.)
6. Attach a stainless steel bail with crazy glue, to the back of pendant. Let dry.
7. Enjoy wearing and getting nice compliments on your unique creation.

More Tattered Angels Projects, Using Glimmer Mist & Glimmer Screens

I thought i might give a few more project ideas , as well as an FAQ video for those of you who already use Glimmer mists. I think these projects help show how versatile this product is and how you don’t only have to use it for scrapbooking. While making a Halloween wreath this year, Heather was having a difficult time finding fake black roses, so instead of doing with out, or spending way too much money on them, she bought some fake white roses and sprayed them with Raven Glimmer Mist and created her own black roses. This is just one idea of how glimmer mists can work for any project you might have!!

Enjoy! Kaitlyn

Posted by scrapbook on October 3, 2009 under Card, Embellishments, Idea, Kits and Collections | Be the First to Comment

Have you heard about Basic Grey’s lasted product? For all you card makers out there here is a product I know you are going to LOVE. Basic Grey has started to create greeting card  kits to go with their paper lines. After a long, stressful day last week I was in dire need of some scrap time. I grabbed the June Bug card kit and sat down to watch Project Runway. My two favorite things; Scrapbooking and fashion! The cards took only about 30 minutes and I ran to grab another kit ;) The results look like these cards took much longer to create than they did, and it was the perfect way to unwind!

Aren’t these cards just adorable! They would be a perfect way to brighten a friends day J ENJOY SCRAPPERS!

I showed one a few days ago, and had to show another one.Today the one I choose is called the paper bag album. As I was looking through her tutorials, this one definitely caught my eye. The name intrigued me so I decided to watch it! The album is super easy to make and the outcome is FABULOUS!!! I CANNOT wait to try this out for my self!! You wont have to go buy any materials! And you will not be disappointed!
