While going through my everyday routines, I’ve come across a few very CLEVER and super cute Christmas ideas. They don’t even necessarily have to be used for the holiday, but could be made using a variety of different products from any company. Just a few fun and easy gift ideas to help us get through these last few days!
Glass Tile Charm Tutorial
1. Choose an image from either scrapbook paper, or one of your personal photos that fits your glass tile. 2. Apply Diamond glaze over the textured side of the glass, place image on the textured side of the glass so you can see the image through the non textured side of glass. Work out air bubbles by applying pressure. Let Dry.
3. Trim any excess paper off with scissors.
4. If your paper is not 2 sided or if you do not like the image on the reverse, use any metallic looking paper stock for the backing of the pendant by applying a thin layer of Diamond Glaze or Mod Podge over the back of the paper or photo you used for the pendant. Apply the metallic paper to the back of your pendant. Let Dry.
5. Apply diamond glaze to the back of the glass pendant to protect it and give it a glossy look. You may also use any sealant that dries clear (it does not have to be diamond glaze.)
6. Attach a stainless steel bail with crazy glue, to the back of pendant. Let dry.
7. Enjoy wearing and getting nice compliments on your unique creation.

As you are preparing your holiday gifts, try this great idea. Make your holiday bows using double-sided paper.
Cut double-sided paper to 3″ x 12″.
Cut into 1/2″ x 12″ strips and punch small holes near ends as well as every 3 7/8″ increments.
Slip end hole of strip onto brad.
Take next hole on strip, loop up towards brad, twist outward 180 degrees and slip onto brad.
Repeat for remaining holes and strips, then open prongs of brad to securely hold paper.
Adjust loops for even spacing.
If additional loops are desired and first brad is at capacity, use second brad to create additional loops then glue to center of first loop arrangement.

While at CHA this summer we picked up an amazing company, not new to the scrapbooking world, but new to Whatwefound. This company had a new make and take every day and me and Heather made SURE we stoped by daily. There product is something that may be a little advanced in the scrapbooking world, can can EASILY make any project look more difficult. They call there product Glimmer Mist, and if you would like more information on it you can find the info on our website or on Tattered Angels website. We learned this technique while at CHA and i thought i would share it with you! Even though Halloween is over these cards can be made using any color for any holiday or occasion.
You will use glimmer screens. cardstock and glimmer mist in this project. Feel free to add any other embellishments, Anabelle from Tattered Angels created this idea and used certain.
First, spray a Glimmer Screen with Glimmer Mist. I made three cards. I used Haunted Shadow, Meadow Green and Jack O’Lantern to spray the screens.
Next, I carefully removed the screen from the scrap paper I’d sprayed it on, and layed it onto a clean paper. With the glimmer side facing up still.
Then, I carefully placed my cardstock onto the wet screen. You have to be careful not to move the paper around and cause a smear.
Finish the sandwich by adding the embossing mat and covering with the white plate. Run it through the Wizard and then peel off the Glimmer Screen. You’ll have a beautifully embossed, glimmery image that looks just like a letterpress!
It’s really hard to capture the shimmer and embossed look in a photo, but I think you can get a good idea from this shot.
Because I loved the design and colors of my embossed images, I decided on a simple card layout. I matted the images on black cardstock, sprayed some Halloween Calling Cards with Glimmer Mist (Indian Corn, Bronze and Lime Twist)Â and adhered them with foam adhesive. A few gems added just the right touch of bling.
Almost all of us have had an experience with Disney that makes us smile every time we remember it. And this new project, using SandylionDisney products!
We started out by using a white, tin band-aid box. I then covered the middle section with different papers from the sandylion Sweetheartline of paper. I then used Sweetie PieStickers, and backed then with a white cardstock. I cut the cardstock to the shape of the sticker. Then i added pop-dots to the back and stuck it onto the bottom of the middle section of the tin. I then took The essentials Black Alphabet stickers and spelt out “Disney Memories” in the middle of the tin. I then added little accents of the Fun Heart Essentials to the tin using pop-dots! And TA-DA your tin is finished!! Now for the Inside!
To the right is what the insert could look like. It is actually an accordion fold. I once again used the stickers from the front of the tin. I used pictures from a recent trip to Disneyland. I printed them as 2″x3″ photos. I then adhered then to the accordion fold, and added Bazzill paper and other stickers!
There’s your finished product!
Its a perfect project to display on empty shelves, or on your coffee table!
Today you are getting two videos!! The slice has been flying off the shelves! So I thought I would show a project and informational video for all of you.
This project is too adorable!! I love the line, and the way the incorporate the slice to make it perfect! What would we do without our personal die-cut systems!!
Hope you all are doing great!! And that you have a fantastic Saturday!!
